Default Cheap version of Carbon Bottle Filter

I just done last night this filter and it is cost me less than $100.
- Canister $29.99 at http://www.filtersfast.com/P-Pentek-...content=150009

- Catalytic Active Carbon .75lbs for $12.00 ( need 3 for $36.00 ) ( last for 6 to 12 months or more depend how much you use) from http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/

- Refill Cartrige 20' for $12.00

- Some plumbing and wood cost $20.00

Did you say this had .75" input and outputs?

Whats the max flow rate?

Yes. It is 3/4 input and output. . test last night water change of 4 tank no chemical add . it is work great my fish love it and start dancing. Also I do few bottle water for my self and I try this morning it have great taste. I think I will do one more for my family drink.
let me test tonight for how long fill up one gallon and I will let you know what the flow rate. and I will post final pictures after a few adjust.

Thank Khmersty. I work great so far and I try make a new one on next few week with 3 stage of 10 inch ( 2 catalytic carbon and one resin)

how many water changes or how long until the carbon needs to be changed? I like this idea!
