Default Tropheus Brichardi - "Mtosi"

This is my first time keeping Trophs, from what I have found I haven't seen many of this variant, are they hard to find or just not in demand?

As far as personality these fish are great and fun to watch! I look forward to hearing everyones comments.

Video is blurry. You only have five? Do you know ratio?

I dont know the ratio, I will try and get a better video. All I know is they are voracious eaters and all seem to get along fine.

They are in my 38 tank fish room with mostly Tangs and some South American species.

Here is a link to pics of the fish room:

You need to definitely have a bigger group and a bigger tank. I'd say at least a 4' 75 gallon.

I so agree. Besides their looks, Brichardis have an awesome personality. That is why I have them.

Don't know how many you have but, it is a good idea to have at least 20 plus. Of course you will need the right tank size. By the way my cell seems to take the worst videos or maybe I haven't worked it out yet.

I like the black "scissor tail" look...very cool...were the original group of 5 wild caught? Nice to see you building the colony size up...do you plan to introduce the 10 fry into the main group once they're big enough?
Thx for shairng
