Default Led project

Hello Folks!

I just want to share with you a work of my friend.
There is a guy who make full led installation around the house
and from now for aquariums. The whole installation have two same
parts with passive cooling by the help of aluminium overlay.
There are three colours. White, blue and red and can mix the colours with a dimmer.
He also made a special unit what can imitate the sunrise and sunset.
The whole thing is more than 12000kelvin and amazingly bright.
Take a look at the photos.

Regards,
Tom

Very Nice ! I have marineland LEDS ok, but not the dimmer and spectrum cababilites as your friends here. How much $$$$ are we talking about for certain sizes. I'm interested.

Nice Tom!

Would be interesting to see how these add up to the USA Current Satellite Plus Fitures I just picked up...

How many LEDs of each?

Just thought Id share cause its semi related...

A friend of mine built a fixture out of various LED spot lights.

It all enclosed in a hood and the lights point in different directions...And its on an 8 ft tank thats really deep...

So he was able to really work the light scape and create all kinds of shadows etc.

He has spotlighted the high points and teritories etc...

I also think its got one dim ish floresant tube running in the middle down the length...just to provide dim general and even light.

But the tank it like 30inch tall and 36inches deep and 8ft...so its really shadowy...

Anyway..its pretty cool and he did it with a bunch of stoff from lowes and off line and just wired it himself etc....

It created a dynamic effect on the cheap

Hi!

The whole thing costs about 200$ in 2*190cm long. Its much more brighter than you can
see on my picture. I am using about half power of the leds.
If someone interested, i can send the contact by pm.

Regards,
Tom
