Default WC Tropheus Kabimba Canary Cheek

Got a group of 7 in two days ago. First video is first day. I only turned on the lights to take a quick video. Second video is today with them grazing on some algae. Getting some more in tomorrow. They are a bit on the rough side, but they are hungry and staying on the rock I grew algae on.

If any one knows how to embed these, please do and let me know how. It's a bit different than HFB. Thanks

Not too sure if those are canary kambimba too me really look like kipili/ulwile. Although who you bought them from would know better. Every kambimba i've seen has yellow in the cheeks and hardly any barring of yellow on the sides. Heres a good vid that shows the difference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbAcSxV1eTc

I was thinking the same thing, but they haven't settle in yet. I got them from Greg as Canary Cheek.

Really!!!
Look, I am by far a Greg - LAA fan. Let me tell you this.
I have a male 3" canary. He looked just the same as Josiahs.
How do I know.
I am the one that helped Josiah acclimate, vent and add them into his tank.
I also told him that they look like this as well as Mine did too.
My male is now colored up nicely as he is wanting to mate and is aggressive as hell.
research before you guys go all whacked out.
Below are pics from, gallery.
I am atleast 90% pos they are canarys.
Unless Greg himself made a mistake or the Exporter, I will apologize.
But since I handled these fish and saw them let alone observed them, they look identical to my canary.
Albiet the uwile look similar, they are not. Those trophs Josiah have are darker and the few stripes they have are thicker.
Do me afavor and test this theory Josiah.
Do you have a black light or moonlight.
If so put it on and shut of any white light.
You will get your answer then as they should color up like the canary you see in pics.
yeah the playboy model type color your looking for.
When I put my moonlight on my tank, they glow in playboy colors.
Just like the Brich namasi reef I am holding colored up magnificently.

They are Ulwile Frankie. Even Greg admitted to it. We're trying to work out a way for me to ship them back to him so I can get a refund. Remember that I've had F1 Canary Cheeks in the same tank and they didn't look like these Ulwile. Even in stressful environments, my canary cheeks never lost the yellow cheek. The difference came with the darkness of the body.

Well then I stand corrected.
But I wont retract what I said about the canary cheek and the one I have when stressed.
Mine looks like Uwile but he is full blown canary just like the Playboy pics.
Yellow cheek most of the time, but also striped up.

Greg is being professional about the entire situation. Patience is key right now. I'm not hurting for the fish or the money, so I'm optimistic that everything will work out smoothly. Talking to Greg before I even ordered the fish assured me, that my money would be well spent. I still feel the same way.

Yeah your good like I said, they were exported to me as Canary cheek and I had them in holding tanks bare bottom just over head lights, thought they just hadnt colored up, so I missed it before I sent them out, havent dont that before, but I guess it can happen, if anyone would throw me off its a brichardi just went with what I ordered and what was on the invoice, still I should have caught that. As I told you as soon as you called me about it I always take care of my customers nomatter what, your not going to pay for Africas mistake and then my mistake of sending them out, I will take care of you and we will fix it, Greg
