I feed mine mostly NLS but recently acquired some Dianichi Veggie FX and Veggie Deluxe from EK so I'm start adding that in. They get fed 2x a day via eheim feeder.

I feed 100% spirulina from kens fish .com and mix it w/Nutrafin spirlina flake the 100% from kens is a little small so i mix the nutrafin in with it for a little more fill and the fish seem to like it.

My primary Tropheus food is a mixture of 50% NLS and 50% Dainichi Veggie FX twice a day.

If there are juveniles or very young fish in the tank, I add another feeding of somewhat crumbled NLS/Dainichi and a couple "pinches" of NLS Growth food.

I also feed some HBH Veggie Mix Flakes (formerly "Graze") about 3-4 times a week.

WOW!!

It's not hard to see that NLS and Spirulina are the post popular, along with the feeding schedule being twice a day for most........ interesting!!!

I feed my guys an even mix of Ken's 100% spirulina/ Ken's veggie flake twice a day for 5 days straight. The sixth day they get NLS 1mm cichlid formula twice a day, and then on the 7th day I do a water change and they don't get fed inorder to clean out their system.

I used to feed NLS exclusively, but I am starting to add OSI spirulina flake as a secondary food at the night time feeding to give them a bit of variety.
