Default My new Maswa I recieved from TroPhish (John)

Here's a video I took last night of the 15 F1 Maswa (12F/3M) I recieved from TroPhish on Thursday. This is roughly 24 hours after I put them into the aquarium. All are doing great and have some awesome bands. John did all the hard with getting the ratio down and keeping the nicest banded males and females. Really glad I was able to get this group from him. Can't wait to see these guys fully grown and fully colored. Should be awesome. Also have 16 f1 maswa fry that I plan to grow out and add to this group at a later time. Can't thank you enough John! Hope y'all enjoy.

Hands down the very best I've ever seen. Protect them at all costs. They are irreplaceable!

You too are an absolute breeze to work with. They couldn't have gone to a better person.

I cant wait to see them over the years. They will be mind boggling as adults!

Enjoy them my friend!

John

Hey John, so can give me a breakdown of all the food you sent me for these guys? Tried my Lueba some of those discs and they tore 'em up.

There really wasnt any picking involved!

I literally just kept 20 fry (about 2 mouthfuls) from the nice wide banded female and then after they started to color up, over several months of watching, I pulled out five males one at a time, leaving behind the better ones.

The group of 20 naturally turned out to 11 females and 9 males. Leaving 4 males and 11 females after I pulled out the five males. (the five I pulled out were nice too actually)

What Im getting at is that there was no selection on the females. Those are just the straight run of 11 she produced. None were culled.

That wide banded female you have produces that consistently. Hold back her fry and you will get those results with no effort at all.

Enjoy em guys!

John Irby

BTW, I'll get together a food list soon for you Miguel.
