I would guess the number 1 fry is Maswa, with there white dots. 2nd would be Moliro because its eventual RED color. 3rd, Red Rainbows of coarse. And I would have put Red Rainbows 2nd but it does'nt breed as much as the Reds. My 2 cents.

I believe the real lufubu has more of a red-violet dorsal than blue.

The reason I put them 1st was because you go into any lfs, if there selling Tropheus, one of them is going to be Maswa's. It's been that way for over 10 years. Maybe I should have answered it for present time. There is also where you looking. On this forum ilangi would proable go one on two. My three cents.

I agree with maswa being #1 only because if you walk into a fish/pet store, it's usually the only one you'll find. I think the more hardcore keepers tend to buy w/c groups so a lot of the fry go to 1st timers and they want duboisi, ikola and moliro quite often.

G' Morning
If your looking to breed to sell fish.. Then Maswa/duboisi types. Then Ikola Kaisers, then the Bemba's. I think people like the contrasting type colors. The above mentioned seem what the auctions sell the most around here..

My two bits

Bill
