http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/for/2250497478.html

Does this sound like a good deal for everything listed? EVERYTHING is including for $550.

The owner says that he has had it for a year. Purchased it for $925. But never set it up! Says that it was up and running the day before he picked it up and holds water fine. Says the glass is in Very Great shape!

He has already dropped it down from 800 then listed it 625 and said that I could have it $550 tomorrow!
Thoughts?

You bet! I got a response from the owner and they said that the measurements for the tank, stand and canopy are 6ft long x 6ft tall and 2.5ft deep! I'm hoping that the tank really is this wide. That would be a 225gallon. 72 x 30 x 24!

I would prefer to get an 8 footer though. Can't find a good one though. I went and looked at a 8ft 220gal last night for 400 with a stand. BUt it had Blue Silicon and some rediculously deep scratches in one section of the tank! Not something that I want to deal with!

any idea if the tank made 72Lx24Wx30H.. Because I just framed my basement to have this size of tank. If it doesn't made this size, I will be mad at myself.

225 would be freakin awesome! just check it over, make absolute sure there is no issues. i sold a 60 gallon tank and the guy checkin it out ignored the deep scratches on it. i was mainly selling the stand and canopy set with the tank, didn't even have a glass lid and told him there were scratches, but he was all excited for it so i guess he either just didn't really care for the scratches or was just too excited and completely ignored it.

anyways, awesome find all the same...ooooo boy...i c another cool build log comin :bouncy:
