My water chem is perfect. no water change problems. every great..

but the fish get freaked out once in a while. they are all scared of something .. i checked the heater etc. nothing the eye can see. they are all swimıng very close to eachother like theres a predator in the water.. and the are swiming in the same spot with eyes wide open and the lil arms flapping very fast but they are swiming in the same spot.. dont know what up then it goes away the next day.. dont knıw whats up..

How long have you had this group of Dubs ? The behavior that you are describing sounds like fish who are in a new surrounding and are not quite use to the setup or you yet . If this is the case , then give them some time and they will relax .

I've had that happen with a few of my groups that were normally outgoing, but for a few days or hours became reclusive, jumpy and panicky. I have no idea why, either. There is no telling what information they get and thru which media from the artificial environment they are enclosed in and surrounded by.

This is no help, I know. But at least you know you're not alone.

It can be a natural part of their charactor.

The fishing group looks cool to me.

I don't see it as them being freaked out.

They just schooling.

they have been with me for 8 months now.. a few mature 4 5 the rest a lil smaller total of 15.. i also have 5 lil clown loach 5 mini suckers and a big sucker. this started about 3 weeks ago it goes of and on.. i thought mating time so one is very agresive towards the other cause the are trying but arent that good at it yet.. and i also am scared cause the biger sucker doest get out in day time only night.. and the other fish eat most of the food thats in the tank.. the all clean.. maybe the big sucker gets hungry and atacks?_

the pictures arent recent pretty old.. like 3 4 months ago.. ı dunno whats up with them

I have a similar experience like you and others here...it appears nobody knows why and disappear suddenly
The reason may be some vibration around/under the tank which you can't register but fish can. No new family member (animal or human)?
