As most of you know I recently set up another Tropheus tank. Although the tank is smaller than my others, I spared no expense including a 3D background, top of the line filter, 3m Quartz, Etc. Unfortunately, I have reinjured my shoulder and I will require surgery again. I am unable to care for this tank. My older son will help me with my 180's but I am going to sell my newest tank. I am going to try and keep my Nkondwe Bright Yellow Tropheus by adding them to my 180 that currently holds my Ikola Colony. If that causes too much disruption, I will sell them. Below is the system I built that includes the following:

1. 48x16x18 (60 gallons) Clear for life aquarium.
2. Custom finished (Rustic Pine) stand and canopy.
3. Universal Habitat 3D Background (escarpment) installed.
4. 50 pounds of 3M quartz S grade buff (Looks natural light brown).
5. Visatherm 250W heater.
6. A ton of river rocks that have already been washed and disinfected.
7. A Coralife 36 inch aqua light T5 Dual Linear Freshwater Light.
8. An Ehiem Pro 3E 2078 canister filter rated for 180 gallons.

This is a complete system. All you have to do is plug it in and cycle the tank (I can provide seeding material if needed). All items are less than a month old with the exception of the Ehiem Filter. I cycled it on my 180 for a little over 4 months.

I have over $1200 invested in it if you include the Ehiem. I am going to let go $525.

If you are interested email me at dww-law@roadrunner.com or PM me. Pick up is in Carlsbad, Ca.

If your selling this tank for other reasons than finances.... then don't.... Your price is way too inexpensive... The cost for your efforts are worth holding onto the tank, even if its not as easy to work with......

I'm sorry you injured your shoulder again... My knee is not doing well and trying to do things on the knee just does not seem to work... but I just try to change how I do things and work with it.. I do know that its not always possible..

I'm sorry your having to go through this... That tank and the fish have the makings of some awesomeness

Storage of another tank in my garage is the issue. Another 6-9 months of rehab added onto the last 4 months (My surgery was January 26) is making it difficult for me to move heavy objects around. If no one buys it I will try to store it. I did add the Nkondwe to my 180. They seem to be fine. They are about an inch or so smaller than my Ikola’s so I think the Ikola’s are not viewing them as a competitive threat. I know there could be issues of cross breeding. If that issue comes up then I will have deal when it does. Anyway, thanks for the kind words.</span>

Your welcome...

Based on gernot and the european observations... I do not think crossbreeding will be the issue at all...

on your recovery...
