Anyone have any w/c Maswas? Or know where I can find a small group?
Thank you.

I would recommennd finding some nice f1's if you cant find anyone willing to sell you their existing colony. Maswa are an endangered species which shouldnt be collected or imported imo.

The Next best thing is getting some more quality F1 from a different group, growing them both out, select the best representations of the variant from each group and then swapping males from one group for males from another.

Titan_Blue,

Try contacting TroPhish, who is a member here. He has the nicest quality Maswas I have ever seen. I'm sure he can hook you up with some F1s from his wild breeder group. They are really some quality fish!

Thanks for the advice Andrew. Those where my plans but wanted to add some fresh w/c blood as my main breeders and have the nices F1 in there with them as a buffer for aggression if I need it them.

I got my 20 F1 fry from TroPhish aka(John). He told me they were from different spawns from different parents both male and female so I'm hoping I have plenty of diversity in there already. I just wanted to add some fresh blood in with them, have the w/c as my main breeders.
Thank you guys for the help.

I didn't think the Maswa were endangered they are fairly new to the hobby. Unlike the regular white band doibosi. If anyone knows were I can find more information on this please send me a link. I would like to read on it.
