Not sure how.

Fill at least half way with water, always open the intake valve first, then the output and then turn it on. Filter runs for 2 minutes and then shuts off for 2 minutes to purge air inside. Then shuts off every 24 hours after that for 2 minute to purge any air that has somehow Not made it out of the system. Any micro bubble usually occur after cleaning the filter out or when a polishing pad is severely clogged.

If it's not working right, then you either have the hoses switched, something wedged in the propeller compartment or the unit is bad. If the air is not purging then you may to much droop before going back to the tank in the output hose. It should have a continuous, if only a little bit before rising, going to the tank.

What it's not doing?

I got it working. Two things were wrong. The impeller was dirty and clogged and the intake and output attachments were backwards. I was using my hand to feel current on the output and then I decided to get really close. Hand started getting sucked. So I fixed it. I used it the way I bought it without checking everything.

The sump will be run by mag 18 and I will have purigen as well. I'm not a big canister filter person so I will have a couple AC110s running as well. For lighting I will have a 36" GLO T5 dual bulb and 48" GLO T5 dual bulb fixture. I have crushed coral aragonite as substrate and green canyon rocks. I will post pictures as I progress.

These are the petros I am seeking:
Petrochromis Trews
Petrochromis Macro (Any Variant)
Pics or it didn't happen..
