I have a colony of 30 F1 Lufubu's I got from a reputable dealer. I'm finding it very interesting watching the color show up. I have some with almost red dorsals, very much like my F1 Rainbows and the I have others that have a yellow dorsal very much like the golden Kazumbas.

I'm pretty positive they are all indeed Lufubu's. Their faces are lavender with small freckles of blue appearing.

Anyone else run across this kind of color differences with Juvies? I'll try to post some pictures soon.

And my lovely thriving Blue Fin Panaque, just for fun

There's no telling with fry.....wait till they put some size on them. Heck, even when they are adults they have variation.

Exactly... I agree completely

I'll have to dig up a few pics of my Lufubu at that size.. it really is amazing how different they look from individual to individual, even now as a bit older juvies.

Reserve stock Cichlids and all I did with the pictures is increase the exposure using Adobe Lightroom. I save them as RAW files and I'm still learning my new camera. No colors were tweaked.

I have 7 (I know, long story) Lufubu sub-adults that came indirectly from reserve stock. They are getting close to spawning size/age and are beautifull looking fish, there are two that are really stunning. I just tried to get a shot of them but no chance, they're a little hyper. I would definately recomend their Lufubu's.
