Default Kensfish and supplies.

I have been shopping at Ken's for years now mainly because they have the best prices and good customer service. I was wondering if anyone else shops there and what you think of their service lately. Since they started carrying supplies for other types of creatures like our dog and cat friends it seems like the service has suffered somewhat. You used to be able to get questions answered fairly fast but now it seems to take forever. Also their prices keep going up as well, now I see some of the stuff over on Amazon for cheaper.

I'm beginning to wonder if their whole expansion thing is hurting the early business model ? You know when you have lots of tanks you tend to look for the best deal around. If you shop at Ken's I'm wondering what your experience is like ?

I have never shopped Kens, but I have been ordering from these guys and they do pretty good.

I haven't placed an order recently but I did call them about the Finnex Titanium Heaters 300W that seem to have been out of stock for close to a year. Ken himself answered (this is the 3rd time he has answered the phone himself) and said that with the expansion things have gotten a little crazy. He said they were moving to a much larger warehouse so he was trying to get things in order. I do think his spirulina foods are pretty good overall, I haven't noticed a large price jump in anything I have purchased but I would need to check old receipts if I still have them. I guess like everything, except our paychecks, prices seem to be going up. I usually shop around when I need something and may even order from a couple places if I can save a few bucks.

I've been shopping there for years now and I will most likely continue. However I've emailed them twice in the past week or so and recieved no reply at all. If he is moving and things are taking longer I don't have a problem, but at least let your customers know what's going on. Otherwise what good is your "contact us" button good for ?

I'm a big fan of kensfish. I've met him a few times at different events. I've always walked away enjoying his company. A class operation.

I myself have always be satisfied with his prices, shipping deals and shipping time frame. But lately with the addition of other animal care items, he's not resupplied his regular stock on some popular and not so popular items and that has forced me to shop elsewhere with only a few dollars in difference of price. So being it was only a time or two it wasn't a big deal.

But I can say that if things don't change, it might not have been the best or most organized choice of his at the moment, taking on other animals care items as I've noticed some more regularly reduced prices as well as similar if not better shipping deals at other online stores.

Lets just hope his move goes well.

just got a order last week.5 day turn around. But still out of mag 300 sleeves and has been for some time..
