Question Which stocking would you recommend?

I might have a 30 gallon long to set up and wondering which stocking idea makes the most sense...

1. paracyps and calvus
2. julies and altolamp Sumbu dwarf
3. just calvus
4. just larger species of julies
5. something else

I just set up a 30l for my mother and they make good shellie tanks.

I vote #2

I would do a variation of the above, paracyps and dwarf sumbu, so #5!

#5 something else...if you want to breed paracyps all those tank mates would eat fry. I'd do single specie. However if you don't care about harvesting fry some sumbu dwarfs and paras would be nice. Maybe even a pair or little colony of neolamprologus specie.

I like all the species lol. I've bred julies and like them but something different would be ok. I'm worried if I do just do Calvus or Sumbu dwarf shell that I wouldn't see them much without the paracyps or other species.

Never seen a 30g long, so I don't know what the foot print would be. If it's not for maximum fry production, a single goby in the mix would be nice too.

I forget the other dimensions but is a 36"/3 foot tank.

Goby would be a nice one but I figure I could add a pair of those in with Trophs when I get them.

They are 36 x 12 x 16! They look like miniature 180g tanks! They are pretty nice! Perfect for Shellies, being they don't get very big at all.
