I need suggestions before i make my purchase this weekend...Will 20 WC ilangis and a breeding pair of petros(not sure which one yet) be too much for my 4 footer 90 gallon tank? Will it have a lot of aggression? The tanks filtrations are an fx5 and a 405, and also have a powerhead. Any suggestions are welcome.

20 tropheus in a 90g is fine. I prefer 25 in case some fish die.

I would Not recommend 2 petros in any size tank much less a 90g.

It's doable...but takes a lot of luck.

Also, the petro will I most likely stop the tropheus breeding.

Ok thanks. That's what i was afraid of.

Don't think i will try at this point, since i don't have an extra tank to put them in incase of too much aggression.

What about getting a couple of small f1 petros with the ilangis?

Go with a smaller variant of petros such as tricolors, trews, for a 90 stay away from moshi, longolas, reds and even some of the famulas. You really need at least a 6' tank or larger for petros and a couple is not a good way to start with petros.
