I'll be receiving several new colonies of Tropheus soon, and was wondering about stocking levels........

I will be receiving (60) Ilangi, (30) Lufubu, (30) Kasakalawe, (30) Red Rainbow, and (30) Moliro

I have the following tanks available to house them......

210g 7 foot long...... 84 x 24 x 24
220g 6 foot long...... 72 x 24 x 30
150g 6 foot
135g 6 foot
125g 6 foot
120g 5 foot

I'm assuming that I'll put the Ilangi in the 210g, 7 footer

I'm thinking of making the 220g a community since it's a little difficult for me to net fish out of a 30" deep tank, so this tank will primarily become a grow out for larger Haps (Venustus, Linni, etc)

That leaves me 4 remaining tanks..... 3 that are 6 footers, and one that is 5 foot.

Of the fish other than the Ilangis, (Lufubu, Kasakalawe, Red Rainbows, and Moliro) is there one group that would be better suited to the 5 foot tank than the others ???

Will (60) Ilangi "fit" the 210g 7 footer ????

Keep in mind that the colonies I'll be receiving are recent "Wild Caught"

Suggestions / insight welcomed

Thanks, Jim

Such problems you have. It shouldnt matter which ones are on the 5 footer. I saw your fish room. Pretty crazy.

Nice collection of fishes and tanks.

Honestly and combo would work.

I've seen 60 tropheus in a 125g with no issues.

If anything same the big tank for a colony of petros!

Petros > tropheus
I ate my fish that died.
