Default New 220 gallon

Setting up a 220 tank and thinking about making it a tang community tank. Maybe one species of trophs, a comp variant, and calvus variant, and maybe more. What would you all recommend. I'd like them to able to breed and i have tanks to remove fry in.

Thanks in advance

It's a 6 foot tank. 2 feet deep and 3 ft tall I think. I'll look into petros. Thanks

if you're starting with juvies Mastiffman has a great selection of premium quality troph's and he has petro trews juvies usually as well and he ships...he also recently acquired a crackin wc colony of yellow moshi but don't think they're producing as yet...all the best

I keep Syno's, Comp's, and Telmatochromis with my troph's. Gobies are fun to keep with them also.

Nice! Love it when the word community comes up with Tropheus! Makes for a great looking tank.

I myself would throw some Gobies in that mix.

I have a 135 gallon and last year I had WC Trophues, WC Petrochromis, F1 Leleupi and WC Gobies all cohabitating peacefully and all were successfully spawning at the same time. There should still be videos of the tank on my youtube channel.

I'm not sure on the type yet. Want to have some nice color on them for sure. Mastiff man- did you have to worry about different diet or did you feed nls. I would like to have gold heads or Calvus in with them if possible.

Nope. I just fed them all a mix. I Started on Ocean Nutrition formula two and then started using Dainichi Veggie FX and Veggie Deluxe as well as Omega One Super Color Kelp Pellets.
