I have a limited quanity of these guys. They are super healthy with awesome colors and beautiful markings. These plecos range from 5" - 6" (the one pictured is just a little shy of 5 1/2").

Have you been breeding them??? If so what has been the best way for you to get them to breed?

One of my favorite plecos ....

I love how they're active during the day and eat all kinds of algae.
Congrats to whoever picks these beauties up.

Bill and Heather,

I do agree they are great looking Plecos. I also like Gold Nuggets and Scarlets also.

I wish I had the ability to breed these little guys. I would take that skill and invest in a breed group of Zebra Plecos.

Have you every bred the bristlenoses??? If not, you should try to pick up a pair and learn how to do that.

I think you would do fine and it would be something else to learn about.

My bristlenoses breed in some of the wildest tanks and am not sure why, but I just see the male doing his fanning bit, check the cave out and when the babies look like they can be pulled and put into a nursery tank, I pull the cave out.

The male Bristlenose guards the eggs and then the fry. Its fascinating to seem him stare you down when you try to look at what he is doing. He has those beady eyes - daring you to try something...
