Default what paint is safe to paint a 3d background

I have a 3d background that's very dark and doesn't show my illangies very well I want to paint it or just take it out and paint back of tank but if there is a way to paint and seal it I think it would look great if anyone can help me out with a paint and sealant fish safe let me know

If yiu could find a nice Krylon Fusion Color that stuff works great. Just needs a good week or two to.fully cure and youre good to go!

The stuff in the spray can I found it online and it's pretty easy to get all my local hardware store carries it thanks

Nice!- FYI- They also now make it in a can for roll on or brushing...
