Default My Moops part 3?

My Moops as of today, love them and photography. So why not another post! Just wishing my Nephew didn't go to town on my tank with nail polish.

and the Usual Suspects.. Ikola fry! My only pair just keep pumping them out, the female is tireless!

Default Happy Ikola

I had a pair that tried to breed but kept getting harassed! She would drop an egg - then boom! Attacks came in. Could have been an awesome relationship except for another aggressive fish. After I removed the aggressor, the male Ikola went on the march as the agressive tank mate.

A few weeks later the female Ikola committed suicide through a small opening in the lid. Not only was that devastating, I found the fish on the other side of the house...

How in the world...?

My 8lb dog had something to do with that part!

28? And a surprise fry hiding at the bottom I just found out yesterday, didn't even notice any of them holding. They are in a 60g.

Nice! They are by far my favorite variant so far...I've been growing out 40 for about a year now...Last month 24 wild caught became available locally so now I have 2 colonies!! Looking forward to having fry soon...

They look great! I really love my moops too. It seams like there is a lot of variation in how each group look but yours look just like mine which I prefer to the others I've seen. I can't wait for them to start producing fry. I have 20 but would like to get the colony up to 30. Nice group you got there!
