Hi new to the site but not to the Tropheus..... I have kept Moliro's quite a while ago, went through a divorce and had to take down my tank....... Back into it now, I have currently an established colony of Duboisi's And I just got 3 T Moori Bemba's. Now one of them is a bright orange the other not so bright and one that is a yellow band? Is this possible from a bad blodline? The fish store had more of these as well fresh in the bag from the wholesaler? I don't wanna have any hybrids..... If ya know what I mean!

Thanks

I would say at this point they are not fully colored up and not showing adult coloration.

Could be Kiriza kaiser II.... both are similar in body structure and bands... I have seen some bembas that had dirt looking bands which made it hard to tell from the two.

So should I just give it some time and see how he colors up? Or just get rid of him and get another orange one?

4Spd 50, When there young that's how they look. The Dominate one is showing his Adult colors. You'll have to wait on the other 2. Of coarse if they become adults and they still have yellow bands then I would you have something else. Hope that helps.
