I hear all these things about filters and prime this prime that, air here get it out... Well that big black button on the C530 you see, press it 1 TIME,and POW, all air is evacuated prior to startup, and the flow is unreal. Also I'm pretty sure that all filters draw water through the media before hitting the magnetic prop otherwise it would not last long at all, nor does it make sense IMO. But what do I know I'm just a IT guy..

We bought an Aquatop 250 a few months back and it work fantastic. Easy to prime and easy to clean plus it is huge. I believe it cost around $130 new at Ken's and I would highly recommend this filter. I am an Eheim person but for the price you can't beat this filter !

WOW James! You were right! That thing is monster! I didn't think that the button was that big. But I've heard good things about those cans.

IMO, next to buying fish, the C530 is the best thing I could buy for $200.00, when it fills up you can actually watch the water line drop quickly in my 150gl. They do have smaller ones, but for the price I got this one compared to the retail cost, I figured go big or go home It seems to me that most other brand name filters are way too much money. I have tried others in the past yrs and wound up selling them and sticking with Marineland. personal preference, we all have it.

150gl, running the C530, Hot magnum250 & aqueon 900 circulator, Can you say Circulation !

I seen the C530 at local petsores for 329.00. petsmart sells the c360 for 199.00 same prices for the C530 sells in the link above. so it's a nobrainer.
