Default Breeding Calvus

What size tank and how many calvus should you have to try to breed? I was going to throw a 40 gallon tank up with one pair of calvus. Thanks.

That's plenty big enough for them, have used 29g and 38g even.

I mean as long as they have their own breeding spot, shell, etc... you could have multiple females.

That sounds like plenty.I let my comps and calvus breed in by display tank then move the mom and driftwood into a 20 gallon. Works well.

Just remember that feeding the fry is not so easy. I use cyclopeeze and crushed nls.And they will take for ever to grow
