I second that! I have not witnessed it myself because mine are still young but I got 20 and think that would be the minimum. 12 can be done but your going to have a much harder time controlling aggression.

I agree with increasing the numbers. If you're willing to drive to Rapid City(20 min North of Brandon) one day, I'll hook you up with some cheap F1's. I was going to raise them to bring back to Spencer's but I have a lot on my plate and also have a couple exiles from my breeding tanks in my growout tank atm. Heres a poor quality video of my last batch of fry.

Gorgeous! I currently have them in a 55 which is my biggest tank..id have to get a bigger one..

You could pack 30 of them in a 60g easy. Go for it.
