Good luck with yours. It takes a long time for them to get what most people would consider good color. It takes at least two years before it really comes on nicely (and it still gets better from there). At a year old, they still look kind of washed out. It's a very slow process but it's worth waiting for.
I think this is why you see so much variation in the pictures of them you find on the Internet. I guess it's not a lot different than the development of other tropheus types.

Thank you for your interest. I do sell fry. I have a waiting list at this time. I would be happy to put you on it but it appears that you live in Canada. I don't ship to Canada because of the permits required and shipping costs involved. I'm sorry about that.

I should add that I did purchase some fry from you also Josiah and now after almost two years of growing them out, they look very nice also.
As I said before though, it takes a long time for them to get good color. Of course, I guess I could say that about many other of the Tropheus types also.

Any pictures of your other group from Josiah? Also, how big are the ones that are breeding and what are you feeding them? Those are really nice.
