Default WC Kalambo!!!

Oh man!! I can't even begin to say how happy I am right now! Just got back from the airport for the kalambo. I will get some pics or videos up after they settle in. Greg is the real deal! Great guy to deal with, and the fish quality is AMAZING!

nice! Make sure you have another tank with Lights on a good part opf the day so that you can keep swapping out Algae covered rocks into their tank. This will ensure that they will all at least be eating something until they get used to domestic food.

And keep your tanks waterflow down to a minimum if you can. Don't want them to burn any extra calories that they don't have to spare until they are nice and heathy! I didn't think about this beforehand and I've had to place a female in a Dark Holding Chamber (farm tank) with just a box filter and some algae covered rocks. She's getting to skinny and low on energy.. Hoping this will bounce her weight and energy back up... Looking a little boney.

Mastiffman, Check this thread out. It should be made a sticky.

What you'll see in the above thread is that people really came out from under the their rocks to help with the subject of acclimating fresh WC's. Im glad that the others that have gone before me were willing to share their expertise. With the information contained in that tread...I feel very prepared and confident that I know what Im doing.
