I see what you mean, I just looked them up. They only look like them because of what I pointed out in the first post, I'm having colony neutralization so neither colony is dominant. Thus they never seemed to develop peak color in regards to the banding. Def. Halembe, I have seen the parents and the guy I bought them from as fry was very thorough.

Thanks man!

I do, keep in mind they never hit proper coloration, not a big enough colony and the imbalance colonies caused neither to be dominant.

I'll get them up as well, I do have some nice ones despite the color issues. I've had plenty of breeding action with them, just never had the time or setup to strip the eggs.

Haha, ya helps put the size of him in perspective, thanks, really appreciate the compliments!

Pulchers are pretty awesome, a bit nasty but aren't a lot of the fish from this lake Some people argue that Neo. Brichardi's they are the same fish, just a variant. They may be related but no way man, their behavior is quite different.

Hmm, I don't know then. I only know what they were sold as. Looking at the Red Moliro, I'm pretty sure they are not them. That being said I am no identification expert. Look at the juvie shot, you ever seen one that striking? I can't find any images like that. Maybe they could be sp. red.

I sent an email out to the pet store owner that got them from a solider who was being deployed, maybe he can shed additional light on this as far where they got the name.

All due respect...

I think you have Tropheus Karilani Dubs and Tropheus Sp. Red .

Maybe you should sell them as such and you may get a buyer.

GL

But I give you credit for posting the pics!

Two times I got burnt by a guy in Queens and another in Yonkers - saying they have Maswa dubs and their dubs looked like yours. I was like....%@$#%@
