Default Tang Tank

Hello Everyone.
Im setting a new tank (90gal - 4ft) and i would like to have different variants of calvus
Black Calvus Congo, Yellow Calvus, and White Pearl Calvus, along with son sexfasciatus, and a pair of eretmodus (some sort i can lay my hands on)

My question is, what would be the ratio for calvus that i should have, they all will be F1. Im thinking 6 Black Calvus, 5 Yellow Calvus, 6 White Peral, would that be ok?

also, What would be the optimun acquascape for this mix?

Thanks fot your comments, and I know this isnt a troph thread, but I know you guys are experts in different tangs.

Thank you for your comments....

Best Regards
Charlie

Charlie to answer ur 1st question 1/2 or 1/3 ratio male to female and for the aquascape i suggest to use caves instead of shells..i heard horror stories fish dying coz they get stuck inside😞 and if ur not gonna breeed them its all good to mix them👍 coz theres always a possibility of cross breeding. 😊. Hope this helps having all those altos will be awesome 👍

The calvus will cross breed. Maybe calvus and comps? Ie, black culvus & gold head comps. I personally wouldn't keep gobies in a 4' tank.

Non jumbo cyps (Utinta, blue flash etc) and Paracyps will make good tankmates.

Calvus and Comps make good tank mates for many of the Tanganyikans. If you're wanting to breed the Calvus or Comps just don't put different varieties of Calvus or Comps in the same tank. I have are pair of Goldhead Comps in with Ilangis and they do very well together. I also have Sumbus in a tank with Xenotiliapia. I have had Comps in tanks with Julis, Cyps, Bristlenose plecos and a single gobie. They aren't agressive toward other tankmates, but at the same time they won't take any crap off of them either. The only drawback is you'll need to take out fry if you want to breed the other fish because a Calvus or a Comp is an expert at hunting down fry.
