Thanks. It will have a deep hum to it until you put a piece of hose over the black intake tube and lightly stuff some filter floss in the end. That Is like a night and day difference alone. Also don't allow any back flush of water so a check valve or a mounting higher would be best.

There's an Ambient noise detector that you can download on any smart phone and use that about a foot away from it while it's running and simply put your figure over that intake tube and watch the difference.
