Exclamation Moving! Illangi, Duboisi, Neo. Pulcher, possibly Ocellatus, Tank, Lighting, PA

So it pains me to do this but my wife and daughter and I are literally picking up and starting our lives over a good distance from where we are now in Central Pennsylvania come 2013.

I need to sell the fish from my dream Tanganyikan biotope. I love and respect my fish too much to risk a multi-day move with them.

- All of these fish are hobbyist bred that were raised from fry by me!

- All have survived on high quality spirulina flake from Ken's Fish and NLS pellets. They have been cared for as if they were my own kids - I affectionaly call them, my other children

Fish I have:
  • 5x Adult Tropheus Duboisi/Halambe -$9 per fish (1 for sure, maybe 2 female, other 3 are male)
  • 4x Adult Tropheus Moorii Ilangi - $11 per fish (1 for sure, maybe 2 female, other 2 are male)
  • 3x Adult Neolamprologus Pulcher 'Daffodil' - $4 per fish (1 for sure, maybe 2 female, other male)
  • 4x Juvi(2+") Neolamprologus Pulcher 'Daffodil' - $3 per fish (personally bred and reared from previously spawning pair, unsexed)
  • 12-14x Adult 'Lamprologus' Ocellatus Zambian Blue, F1's (wild caught parents, feisty) - $8 per fish (if I sell them at all, not sure, really want to keep, good mix of female to male ratio)
  • 8x Adult Cherry Barbs - $1.50 per fish (good size and great color, 6-female / 2-male) (I know they don't belong in this Tang. biotope but couldn't get them out when I made the conversion)

Tank Parts willing to part with:
  • 55 gallon tank when fish sold, good condition - $50
  • Tank Hood - $20, custom built + should accommodate whatever lighting config you desire, cost me a lot more in wood to build but it's not the greatest piece you will ever see so deal for you - in black, white inside to reflect light.
  • Fluorescent Fixture (48" T12) - $25, I may have other lights if you want to buy to retrofit T8 in there, will sell cheap)
  • 2x55w Compact Fluorescent/PC Custom Retrofit Built Hood - $115, very nice, high quality poplar, ready for you to stain/paint your desired color, great condition, brand new bulbs hardly used (well known GE 9325k bulbs), retrofit kit from AHSupply/Aquarium Hobbyist Supply (one of the best around) - strongly considering selling

PM me for photos and videos if I don't get them up prior to your contacting me. Have to dig them from my backup drives.

You'll notice that my tropheus don't show the best colors, I'm fairly certain I have a colony imbalance/colony strength neutralization as well as male/female ratio imbalance.

I may consider serious offers. If you're a hobbyist who keeps these fish, then you know the value of what I'm selling and that the prices are pretty reasonable.

Prefer pickup, may consider shipping, will meet within reason - New Jersey Native (but not with tank!). Cash and or paypal only!

Default N. Pulcher

Neolamprologus Pulcher 'Daffodils'

Queen (multiple spawns until pair bond was broken due change in power - the juvies you see are hers)

I think this is the other competing male that overthrew the previous overlord, he has now bonded with one of the juvies and has offspring

Den/Nest

Prior King - he looks small in this photo but he is much bigger, he was younger in this image but the perspective is still off - he had really nice and long trailing fins at this point and they only got more impressive...until his rule was overthrown

Juvies - showing nice color even though still young (see Den image above as well, there are actually 4, other one is guarding the nest)

Those are Halembe?

They look more like Karilani.
