I have a group of 20 3" purple lufubus.....is it recommended to feed mysis a few times a week as a treat?

Yeah I would recommend it. I feed mysis and krill about 3-4 feedings per week for my trophs and petros. Add it slowly, starting with small amounts to get them familiar with it before you go crazy with it. The added meat really gets the females into prime condition quickly, with less turnaround between spawns too.
