Default { My DIY 7ft and 8ft tanks }

Hey guys, this is just a continued thread.

http://trophs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26179

And now here I am again, trying to share my tanks build. I am trying to put these two together side by side eventhough, the 8 footer has its own stand already. the stand that I'm trying to build will not match to the new one. so i figure why build 1 if i can build two. It might take me a while due to family and work to finish this but, I'm pretty sure it will be worth it.

So, I went to home depot today and bought some 2x4 lumbers and they free cut it for me.

And here are the tanks...
8 footer.

7 footer.

Yesterday (sunday) i scrapped all the old silicone out. cause it looks like the previous owner used some meth blue or cloth in it as the old silicone were blue or green something?

And here's the nice and cleaned tank.

That's a great job Jammer. How many tubes did you use for a tank that size.

Thanks for believing in me Walt.
I used 2.5 tubes and made about 1" beads on all top 4 corners. And 1.5 on all bottom sides.
