Tropheus Black kiriza, is there any possible tankmates that maybe I can mix these guys with? The obvious answer is more, so plz all save that answer , just curious of other other Tang Lake Fish or possible another Tropheus Type.

The Kiriza are all juvies beween the size of 1-2inch.

Thx

Howdy
And Welcome to Trophs!!

Yes there are some others you can put with these lil fella's. However to really be able to answer the question in the best way possible, we need to ask you some questions.....

#1 How big is your tank
#2 What kind of filtration and water movers do you have?
#3 How many of these little guys did you get??
#4 What kind of aquascaping do you have?

Soooooo lets assume a few things... you have 135 gallon tank with about 20 to 30 of these guys and a couple of good filters.. Hopefully a canister type and the normal malawi type aquascaping...

Soooo you may want to add to the colony another 10 to 20 in that size tank... Also you may want to add any non banded or blk sp. type tropheus...

Maybe some Red Rainbows... Blue Rainbows...

Other fish in that tank could be some gobies. Later when you get more experience you could also add some of the tamer petrochromis guys....There are some fantastic people on here that will give outstanding advice to you...

Hang in there and keep on enjoying

Again.. Welcome to Trophs.. Glad you could come..

Bill

Pretty sure he has 11 in a 70g.
I don't think there is room for another group of trophs if that is the case. How about some gobies or cyps?
And seeing as how you don't want to hear the obvious answer, I'll shut up now.

i agree with what others have said, but not the petros just yet. in that size tank you can go with 3 to 6 julies, and let them pair up.

Thx for the replies, and thx for the Bigg Welcomes. It is 11 juvies in a 4ft 70 gal tank with 2 rock piles on each end and open middle, filtration is fluval 405.

I thought about moving them to my 125 but with the fish stock I have in there I would not dare try to make that work in 70g (see sig).

Thx again and I plan on looking into some gobies or cyps.
