Anyway to incorperate a samll aeration device in these instead of just straight airline output? Might yeild more consistent lift...

been using the same design for years with no problems as far as having to add anything to them.
the only way to add to them would be to make the air chamber bigger then you run into tanks not tall enough to use them in. i have used small air pumps to run them but find it best to have a larger pump to run more than 1 . like a central air system there are many out there and some are as little as 65 bucks and will run 15 outlets. on my own system running 45 tanks with with 90 sponge filters and box filters and run up to 20 tumblers at a time using a liner piston pump 120 modle that was rated for upto 130 outlets. here are a couple photos. if your using a 20 dollar pump i would say that is more the problem .

Good tumblers here. Don't need tropheus eggs to be lifted much. Too much will deform them. It's all about air and these allow the right amount.

All the troph fry Iv raised and sold on here have been tumbled in these tumblers....

They can lift or just slightly rock and roll the eggs depending on the air pump chosen and a valve to adjust the flow.

Gotcha. I've just noticed that will tumblers that don't have an air stone the eggs tend to bounce more than with an air stone. The ones that I use and Air stone with almost seem to make the eggs float with mild rolling around.
