Default 1st deer...husband/wife duo

My wife & I went hunting on her dads property opening weekend of the deer season here in Ohio. We had great success harvesting a buck each. Her's was a broadside double lung shot. Mine was 1/4'ing away and shot through liver & single lung. My father in laws property is just outside Cincinnati adjoining Mt Airy with no proximity to farm land. He has 150 apples trees on the back of his 8 acre property. The deer there are strictly grass, acorn, other natural forage & apple fed. No GMO corn, beans or wheat in their diet. Pretty exciting stuff. We now have 124#'s of meat in the deep freeze. Yum!

I was surprised also Jim...the bigger buck was really heavy...about 80#'s of the meat came from him!
