After about a month the Nkonde's are now breeding. Just noticed 2 females are holding. Got these guys from Greg (4M 20F). I am going to see if they hold to term.

I am pretty pleased it only took 4 weeks for them to settle in and breed. My Petro Longolas that I got at the same time have not breed yet. The Alpha Male attempts but the females want no part of it. My Petro Red Bulu's are starting to shimmy a bit but I expect it will be another 6 months or so for them. Although, the WC Alpha male is trying but the females are still a little small.

Don congrats and hope they hold for you. Just keep an eye on the red wc male, when they want to breed, bad things can happen very quickly as they are very persistent.

Don I hope you enjoy your Nkondwes as much as I do mine. I got a group from Greg over a year ago. They are getting huge and spawn all the time. They are a great group. Good luck with them.
