Thanks Doug. Yeah I'm hoping good things for the fry. The two WC females have been very consistent with their production. It's been back to back. Kind of hard not to be with 4 bigger males.

Nice red bands mate. So I'm guessing maybe you're gonna build up a colony of hand picked breeders from your juvies? I loved my bembas back in Oz. I only wish there red band was as wide as ikola's yellow one...I'll have to take that up with there Creator when I meet Him I guess

Thanks. Yeah they have pretty good color and I hoping that the fry will continue on with their color into adulthood.

Yes, I will be growing them out and choosing the best to build a colony for now until I get ahold of a couple to few trios of wild ones or attain some from a quality and unrelated bloodline.

I think that once their stripe was that wide. But with poor breeding in the community and natural variance in genetics, it hasn't been retained except for a couple of groups. Pam Chins being one of them. I was on a good track when I first got my wild ones but out of 4 people and 90 total wild ones, I was the only one to save any. The 2 wild females. But they seem to be great! I'm not complaining though. Just giving a background on why I'm choosing this route for now I guess!

I do have a few projects going on fish wise. The Maswa, Murago (Tanz) and these Pemba. So that makes it all even that much more fun. I will always try to make the right choices to keep the quality of my colonies pure.
