Yep! This was right after a water change... The males get really pumped up. But thats the only time they do it. All other times is just a little showing off. No body even gets a nipped fin. This is a very peaceful, productive colony.

The wilds are looking great! The yellow may be even more intense as they have matured even more. But they are fully grown now, so I they are done changing. I also have a group of 20 fry that I held back. They are pretty deep in the banding up process and the results are great! Very wide.

Ill get a video soon. In the last few months, its been work and water changes! Thats it! But I'v been meaning to participate in the forum more... And things are coming to a place where I think I'll be able to do just that.

You just let me know... I'll hook you up! They are a really fun tropheus. They look almost saltwater...look great... they breed well...and are peaceful yet peppy.

Yes, that's a temp probe. It pretty inaccurate. Its one of those cheapo digital ones that you can get for 10 bucks. But I just throw it in the tank while doing water changes so that I can make sure I'm not WAY off in my temp as I add water back in. I move it from tank to tank and only use it at the time of water changes.

John.

Awesome vids and fish. My little guys are showing some bands now and doing well, still have all 12 you sent me, however I did lose 2 of the RR's you sent me, the other 4 are doing well and growing so fast. The RR's I got 16 months ago from Greg at under 1" are now over 3+ inches and showing some spawning habits.

Thats awesome! I bet those three inchers you got from Greg are looking great and all colored up!

Glad the Maswa are banding up for you. Iv got some here that are about the same age as yours and they are starting to band up as well. As always the bands come in a little creamy colored and the yellow has been intensifying as the weeks pass. I'm so impatient! lol

Whats most cool is that you havent had to get rid of your fish!

Talk to you later,

John
