I'm thinking of getting a colony of wild caught Tropheus my only concern is my tap water here in London has less then ideal levels of nitrate, could other members who live in london can share there experiences of the quality of the water.

Thanks

London Ont.? Never checked it. I keep Bemba and Moliros never had any problems with bloat, fish are always breeding and active but they are not WC, which come with bigger challenges......

Hi to the wonderful world of tropheus mate. There's a few people on here that live in London, if you go to the Tropheus Talk page, theres a sticky post about us UK keepers. Mattswolon and Marksp are two that spring to mind. Drop them a PM i'm sure they would be able to tell you if they do anything to their water.

Once again congrats on trying Trophs, they're addictive lol
