Default F1 Moba Fry??? Hoping this is FINALLY...

SUCCESSFUL!?

This has been a 2 year waiting process and I'm hoping that I finally have witnessed my first successful Moba Spawn from my colony of 16!

There are for sure two big males and the rest are females from my venting experience.

So after feeding them this evening, this is what I caught. There was a flat rock that was on top of two other larger ones that fell behind them and caused a guarded area behind one of the large rocks and that one had a Slab on top if it. This evidently created the perfect spawning place for the male and his little honey dew!

Full vent dropped on both and the typical slow swoop and shake of the female and then a pass by the male every time. I have seen him recently following a female around, but never witnessed this whole act.

Was Able to sneak up to the couch by the tank and record some of it. had to zoom in though. So sorry for the low res at that point.

Thanks Guys.

I know after two years and 15 spawns... HOPEFULLY this will be the start of Success! I have feed them Frozen Krill for the past 3-4 years now. They owe me a little!

But in all seriousness they are Wonder Group to watch. Just really peaceful and morderately active for Cyphos!

I will keep you all up to date on how this female holds!

Thank you. I'm getting ready to split the group in two and hopefully get some better luck that way.

Why yes she did. Unfortunately she lost a couple to something. One jumped out of the tank and she traded the last two for a good sized colony of what I believe to be younger Tanzanites!
