Default WC Eretmodus Cyano. "Mpulungu" Gobies.

Here is an update on my two pairs of WC Eretmodus that I got from Greg a little while ago.

3 of the 4 of these were super aggressive towards each other and more focused on the one submissive female...

SO after acclimation I paired them off in a 180g and a 6ft 120g. The male in the 120g killed his female and the other male in the 180g would continually beat on his female every couple of days like clockwork. SO I decided to put the last female in with the other male into the Tropheus Mpulungu tank at the same time. Low and behold they chased each other around for a day or so but settled down and spawned a few days after that.

Unfortunately she didn't hold and the eggs got destroyed. But they are still very peaceful with one another in the 180g Mpulungu tank. Almost like they should be.

Here is a few minute video of them just hanging out. Very nice markings on them both in the right light. Which may not be completely visible in the video. Looking forward to getting fry from them.

Same with my Eret Kigoma. I had two paired up and spawned. A few days later the female lost her eggs. They also lock lips occasionally.

These two are exactly how my last two pairs of Bulu Point were. Peaceful...

Nice Andrew. I'm planning on getting a pair of eretmodus or tanganicodus kibishi from Gregs upcoming import.

Smooth move there Dr. Love . They look really nice. FYI, if you don't catch the male in time when he's holding to strip be careful when siphoning the gravel because those little rascals are almost invisible. Hopefully soon you will have a tank full.

That's cool, they are just like soul mates lol.. I like the way they pair, the other one follows the other.

Ha haaa. I try.... yeah the males usually end up with wigglers and I usually stripe them at that point. The pull from a male of my WC Bulu Point Gobies was 17 I think.... So they can hold a decent amount. And they can get 4-4.75". So they can hold quite a bit towards fully grown size.

They are very interesting to watch. And then every time the light reflects off of their colors it's great!
