Looks like "rock piles" to define some territories....and "caves" for the trophs to swim through.

I know a pretty knowledgeable troph keeper that uses ceramic castles that create the same thing....structure, territories, and caves.

From Castles to corals...Trophs dont care...

And I think she spaces them pretty evenly throughout the tank so the territories arnt that defined or separated in her set ups.

Large numbers are forgiving.

And those moops right there are RATS...they would breed in a bucket!

BTW...thats M. McGees old group.

Nothing wrong with it.

It just looks unnatural from the videos I see of the lake.

Plus, it's an ugly scape but that's just my 2 cents.

I used to use them in the pass.

But don't anymore. I scape my tanks so that it looks nice to me.

I'm 100% sure they dont need it.
