Also...now I gotta try RR's cause people say "they don't produce well" and I want to try brichardis case people say they produce huge numbers...both sound fun.

But I figure if the brichardi produce so huge...might as well be the rarest ones I can get. like ubwari, firey fry, maybe red cheeks.

Can you get those Troph Mtotos? those look stunning and seem pretty rare in the hobby.

I ONLY have about 8 tanks going...so I have to make wise decisions.

Anywho...Im having a blast with all of it!

I would think this group, and depending on how many females you have, could produce near 100 fry per month once really in their prime.
I have 10m/20f. I've had them for about 6 weeks and they just started breeding consistently. The first few times they didn't hold for more then a day but this time like I said I got 24 and there's one maybe two holding now. So yeah we're definitely in for a some busy tumbling lol

Yeah. It was five but I added a few 40Bs. They went on sale at petco for a buck per gallon and I caved into my addiction. I replaced all my 30's with 40's.

Im going to try some petros soon in my bigger tanks. And do trophs in the 4 footers.

This is an awesome group!!! I thanked John elsewhere on the site for selling them to me (entitled TroPhish Rocks). As I noted he is a man of his word. Glad he got some fry from the group before they made the trip to Oregon!!! Ha. Pastor Lange

Pastor Lange,

I really am happy that you got these fish. This is a people hobby for me. No agendas.
Thank you for the kind words and positive review.

I'm pretty sure that these went to the right person and Im glad that through the process, we were able to chat a bit etc.

Its always scary sending fish off that far away and its a relief knowing that they are doing well for you and that you are enjoying them.

Have fun!

John
