Sweet tank sunny, what type of lighting are you using??? You can not see the fixture in the vid. You better not tell me that it is that remote flash that you have, LOL.

I wish man. I'm using two 36" Ecoxotic Stunner 8000K LED strips, sitting right on the glass lids of the tank so you can't see them unless you're standing right by the tank. Stunner 8000K is what I have on all my tanks now.

Not much really. I actually don't even vacuum either. It's all about flow and powerhead placement. I use one Vortech MP60 now on random reef crest mode and it has a nice flow pattern that suspends detritus in the water column and the canister filters take them out of the tank. Previous to that, I had one Koralia 7 doing the same job but it took too much space inside the tank.

I took those photos yesterday, which is 6 days after last water change (water change due today) you can see that I really don't need to vacuum the sand at all. The sand does get moved around by the flow so I use a rake to push it back in place every couple of weeks.
