Default my ilangi set up

Tropheus ilangi tank
Custom made cabinet and hood. Made out of birch plywood-solid trim- made it in a cabinet shop
150 gallon acrylic Tenacor aquarium, (6ft x 2ft x 20 l- Im short so I wanted to be able to get in tank easily for cleaning) has 4 return 2 on each side- one high the other low. Pumps used for the returns are 4 Hagen 70s(400 gal per/hr).
Filtration- 2 compartments-one has the generic blue bio-balls and the other has Sea-Chem Pond Matrix.
Addition circulation is Koralia evolution 1050s x2. (1050 gals/hr) one on each side of tank
Lighting - Marineland double LED 36 x2 (color is less than desirable, would not recommend-in my opinion) lights come on at 2 pm go off at 10pm.
Substrate - African cichlid sand. (If I switch to an all white substrate will it help color fish up more.)
Texas Holey Rock- approx 200lbs
Ornamental log- considering taking it out. What you guys think?
21 WC ilangi from Valleyaquatics. I have had fish over a month now.
I have a Jemcho temperature controller-with 2 cheap 300watt heaters. Need heaters with 9ft cords-any ideas?
I have a Big Digital Temp Alert- P.O.S.!! Thermometer stays 82 degrees no matter what. Hence the two glass thermometers in the tank. I wanted to ensure Jemcho temp control was accurate.
I have a 2 digital power centers for outlets.
Any questions, concerns, or thoughts?

I went through 2 of those Big Digital Temp Alerts - both are in the trash now. Just regular glass thermometers for me. Those Jehmco temp controllers are awesome - they are commercial grade quality and I've been using them for over 5 years now.

I use the Jemco temp controllers for 2 tanks. Connect all heaters to a power bar, power bar to the temp controller. That should be plenty of cord to reach your power source. Makes it easier to do water changes if you need to power off your heaters - just turn off your power bar - be sure to turn it back on when finished!

You may not need such high wattage heaters - acrylics will retain temperatures much longer than glass temps. For my 125g tanks, 2 x 150W heaters hold the temperatures quite easily at 78*F, ambient temperature is 70*F in the basement.
