Default 240g set up & ratios?

I currently have a 240g tank with 2 FX5's and a 110 Aquaclear filter on it. I had a colony of fronts in there for years, but would like to convert it to a Troph's tank. Currently I have 30 F1 Kasanga RR Fry (1" - 1 1/2") in a 55 gallon tank. They are doing great for now, but I would like to move them to the 240 when they get a little larger.

My question is...is that too much room for them? Will aggression be too high? Do I need a larger colony or should I add a second group?

Thanks for the help and advice.

Aggression would be hard to predict. With you raising them as group they might sort out the pecking order early and tank size might not affect them or it could cause problems. No way to really know for sure. You could do either of the options you are considering and and it should be okay. IMO if you decide to add a second group stay away from sp. Reds, Dubs or a sp. Black would be your best choices.
