My F1 Petro Red Bulu's are now 2.5 inches. Today I moved them to my 180 Ikola show tank. They are schooling everywhere together which I find very interesting. The Ikola's were intersted for about 2 seconds and now they are just ignoring them. Their schooling behavior is quite facinating to me. The reason I moved them today was because they were in a 40 gallon grow out tank with the same aged Ikola's. However, they grew much faster. When I counted the Ikola fry I realized I was 12 short I don't mean they were dead, I mean they were gone completely. I believe the Petro's made a little snack out of the much smaller Ikola fry :hungry:

Looking good Don! They will now grow pretty quickly for you and yes their schooling behavior is awesome sight. You will start seeing more redish tint on males very soon and possibly egg spots too (although they are not that noticeable on the adults).

Just for size comparison the Ikola's are 5-6 inches.

They grow much faster than my Ikola's. Unfortunately I thought they would be fine together but the Petro's made quick work of the Ikola fry. They are now in the main tank. They are second fiddle to the WC Ikola's at this point. At feeding time they now keep a low profile and snag what the Ikola's drop.
