Here are a few pic taken with my phone of my new 240 gallon tank with my 50 WC Ilangis. I just put them in last night so the colors are still a little dull, I have 2 males that had no problem moving right into their new rock piles hehe :excited:

I hope you all enjoy and any input would be great!

1 Fluval FX5 ( 2nd soon to come )
1 Rena 3
2 3200 GPH wave makers
combo of PFS and #1 crushed coral
River rock

Looking good ... OCFRONT .!!! The only thing that I don't like is the plant on the left side of the tank . I don't know what it is but something about it distracts my eye .

I agree with Dave. Nice looking rockwork but the plant is distracting

What is that called in an artistic manner... Eye movement. Supposed to be towards a focal point though IIRC... maybe add another to the other side or remove the one. maybe Center it more.

Looks great man! is that bare spot in the middle from pooring in the Trophs? Or the waterflow?

That's a BA Setup!

Any pics with the lights in the room off?

Nice tank! I think an 8' long, 240 may be my favorite size cichlid tank. I'd definitely break my "no more tanks no matter what" rule if I came across a nice one for sale within driving distance.
