Personally I don't think there is such a thing as a green murago or yellow murago. I do agree that murago exist but when you compare the green pictures to the yellow pictures it looks like the same fish - just under a different light temp. Part of my issue is this, whenever you see a picture of green murago, it is usually the same picture (everytime) by Ad from his book. Any one have pictures of green muragos? Or yellow muragos? I would love to compare them. I have muragos.

Thank you for the pictures. I think they resemble my murago a lot except a few factors 1. Not as much blue in the face BUT this can be wiped out with the use of a flash on the camera and 2. Yellow Freckles not as pronounced BUT I wonder if this is a matter of location (ie Lufubu and other rainbow variants of the same type vary by locale) or size. I still see the yellow stripes with brownish undertone. At the "wrong" angle with flash this is very easy for me to recreate.

EK, until we see "green" murago and "yellow" murago side by side and under the same environment, I'm not sure if one is prettier than the other.

Again, mine are murago....

Oh man.........

I will try to get some better pictures up.

DD, please post pics of yours so I can look at them. I think mine are awesome looking and may take over as my favorite Troph instead of Lufubu.

I have seen some yellow murago's and they were not as pretty to me... although they were in less then ideal settings.
Then again I have seen green muragos in less then ideal settings and still thought they were HOTT!

Yeah those yellows he has are nice but not enough to win me over...

Too many variants, not enough tanks ..... gotta pick and choose.
